My responsibility includes supporting Global and Site Sourcing’s supply base strategies, representing the Tijuana site in developing a global sourcing strategy, and driving continuous cost, quality, delivery, and service improvements. Additionally, I serve as the crucial link between the Sourcing team and local operations teams in planning, preparing, and executing sourcing projects for globally leveraged commodities. Achievements: • Worked on a plan with Supply Chain management to reduce lead times by 50% to improve the response time to changes on schedule to support customer demand in the main drivers. • Developed the Tijuana strategic plan for each commodity as electronics, plastics, hardware, steel & packaging in alignment with the company's global procurement plan for the second half of 2024 to meet the company's productivity goals. • Supports and drives Plan for Every Part (PFEP) strategy and implementation for the site. • Drive Productivity projects for 1.2M in 2024-2025 in the different commodities for the Tijuana site. • In MRO, I led the project to renegotiate the Nitrogen bulk agreement to generate $150K annual cost reduction. • I updated the procedures of the department and each job description in the department, to align with the company KPIs and policies.
