Responsibilities: I am accountable for spearheading the development and effective execution of the site’s strategic and tactical sourcing needs. My responsibility includes supporting Global and Site Sourcing’s supply base strategies, representing the Tijuana site in developing a global sourcing strategy, and driving continuous cost, quality, delivery, and service improvements. Additionally, I serve as the crucial link between the Sourcing team and local operations teams in planning, preparing, and executing sourcing projects for globally leveraged commodities. Achievements: • Worked on a plan with Supply Chain management to reduce lead times by 50% to improve the response time to changes on schedule to support customer demand in the main drivers. • Developed the Tijuana strategic plan for each commodity as electronics, plastics, hardware, steel & packaging in alignment with the company's global procurement plan for the second half of 2024 to meet the company's productivity goals. • Supports and drives Plan for Every Part (PFEP) strategy and implementation for the site. • Drive Productivity projects for 1.2M in 2024-2025 in the different commodities for the Tijuana site. • In MRO, I led the project to renegotiate the Nitrogen bulk agreement to generate $150K annual cost reduction. • I updated the procedures of the department and each job description in the department, to align with the company KPIs and policies.
Responsibilities: Have overall responsibility for the Procurement and Sourcing processes of the Company. Designed the infrastructure and organization for a well-controlled and managed purchasing and sourcing department. Implemented agreements and contracts with suppliers and contractors for equipment, facilities, and the operation of direct materials. Developed and established a strategy for contracting and selecting suppliers at a national and international level. Achievements: • Reducing 30% the cost of main packaging materials by combining the three sites volume to negotiate a better price and commercial conditions. • Put in place a just-in-time system for customers and company-owned packaging supplies. • Implemented supplier agreements/contracts when beneficial, by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach an agreement on contract terms and conditions. • Developed and implemented sourcing and supplier selection strategy domestically and in the US for each MRO category. • By negotiating better costs and strategic sourcing of packaging material, the company has increased 65% revenue from customer packaging buy markup in the past three years.
Responsibilities: Acting as the vital link between Supplier Eaton and Honeywell, I oversee delivery and quality performance. I meticulously track individual part delivery and prioritize short-term and long-term requirements. Maintaining control over the supplier's product line loading with available capacity allows me to recommend alternatives when necessary. Collaborating with suppliers to prioritize products and implementing hands-on activities in the shop facilitates effective management of delivery schedules. Achievements: • My hands-on approach has led to a remarkable improvement in Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) from 16% to 80% in the first 6 months. • I achieved a 15% cost reduction through insourcing, transferring 150 parts of a third-party supplier in the U.S. to a company site in Nanjing, China. • I maintained the inventory levels of the Torrance site according to the objectives of the organization by implementing an electronic "Pull In" system via SAP system with the Tempe AZ site.
